If I have a membership, should I still reserve my spot?
It is recommended that you still reserve your play time so that it is guaranteed. If you walk-in, even as a member and we are at full capacity, you will still need to wait until there is space available,
FAQ’s
I don’t have a small child who would play, but can I still come for coffee?
YES! We welcome drop-in patrons who would like coffee, tea, matcha chai, sweet treats, etc.
Do adults who go into the play area cost an additional fee?
No. The fee is strictly for the child who is in the play area.
Where are you located?
We are in the same building as Summit Smiles, but in the last unit. Summit Smiles is close to Sentara Outpatient and Smileys Ice Cream.

"We LOVED our time at Blue Daisy. It was a no-brainer after just one visit that a membership is absolutely worth it! The cafe is thoughtfully set up for supervision and enjoyment for both kids and parents. My latte was amazing and the snack choices offer variety without being overwhelming. The play equipment and toys also offered variety for a wide range of ages without being overcrowded or overwhelming. So excited to come back and bring friends!"

My name is Whitney Kinkead and I am so excited to be bringing you, The Blue Daisy Play Cafe. I am from Bridgewater, Virginia and I still live in my hometown with my husband, Josh, two children, Edith and Callum and my dog, Kevin. After working as an elementary school counselor for 10 years, I decided it was time to combine my two biggest passions which are caring for children and coffee.
The Blue Daisy Play Cafe officially opened on November 21st, 2025 and we are excited to see what this next chapter brings!
